THE LUMINARE

The Luminare is a large, open concept wedding and event venue located in Marcy Holmes Neighborhood in Minneapolis Minnesota, nestled right in the middle of the Twin Cities, and is just minutes away from Downtown Minneapolis, Downtown St Paul, and The University of Minnesota.

This vibe is modern, industrial and warehouse, yet cozy. Gorgeous natural light is abundant throughout from its many windows and skylights, and at night, glows from the overhead cafe lights, colorful accent up lighting, and fun projector images….we sure do like to party!

The exposed gray beams, polished concrete floor, 26’ tall ceilings, white walls and a totally open floor plan offer a minimalist approach, yet a totally customizable blank canvas to be the perfect backdrop for any event.

With over 11,000 square feet, the venue regularly hosts many different types of large or small events including ceremonies, receptions, engagement parties, wedding showers, day after brunches, rehearsal dinners, Nikkah (Nikah) Ceremonies, Sangeets, Fashion Shows, Trade Shows, Awards Banquets, Fundraisers and more.   

The space at The Luminare can accommodate smaller more intimate gatherings, or larger parties of up to 300 guests seated, or 525 reception style.

At The Luminare, we do things differently. There are no hidden extra fees and we offer many amenities complimentary with the space rental:

  • We do offer in-house catering, but also offer an open catering policy

  • No Commission or Fees on other vendor’s contracts

  • BYO Alcohol, help with Bar Planning and Liquor Store Ordering

  • Dedicated parking spaces for up to 95 cars, plus ample complimentary on-street parking

  • Included A/V - House Speakers, Microphones, Uplighting, Projectors, Fun Image Projectors

  • Included House Decor - Black Metal Frames, Shelves, Soft Lounge Seating, Plants

  • Multiple Hanging Frames for overhead statement installations (ceremony backdrops, disco balls)

  • No Ceremony Fees, Room Setup Fees, or Room Flip/Reset Fees

  • The Suite, can be used as a VIP room, an office, or a getting ready area for a wedding party

  • 2nd Suite is coming soon (April 2025)
